Parents To Be Consultations
This is a home based consultation for families expecting a pitter patter of tiny feet.
This consultation will involve three visits:
Visit number one
The first visit should preferably take place three months before baby is born with both partners present. Billy will watch and observe your canines natural behaviour. He will be watching for key indications from your canines body language, and there response to there surrounding environment.
This is done so Billy can ascertain the most effective and efficient training technique for your dogs individual needs.
He will then help you set up some positive good basic and healthy boundaries that you can start to apply before your baby arrives.
These will include Guiding you through a process of introducing baby to your canine, respecting babies space, respecting baby as a new member of the pack (family).
After the visit has taken place Billy will shortly return with an information sheet on everything you have discussed with him so you have information regarding key points discussed and you can return to this information as often as you require.
Visit number two
This visit should again take place before the baby has arrived, preferably 4 weeks after Billy's first visit. Billy will observe all the training methods you have been taught in your first consultation and will be able to see how effective they appear to be, he will then modify these techniques if necessary. You can discuss any concerns you have at this point before baby arrives
Third Visit
Billy will return after your baby has been born to ensure that all is well and the training has had a positive effect on your dog. You can discuss any additional concerns you may have with your canine companion and babies interaction, if any and however small.
If Required Billy will also help mother/father and baby go on a successful walk together with your dog respecting your babies space.
After any of these visits you need help or advice, please do not hesitate to call us as our assistance is always at hand. Enjoy your baby and your dog.
